Cheshire Medical Center is much more than a hospital. We are also the Monadnock Region’s largest employer. In addition to providing excellent, compassionate care for the patients we serve, we pride ourselves on providing a meaningful and fulfilling work environment for our employees.

Currently, physicians, providers, and staff providing care and working in Keene, Walpole, and Winchester are hired and compensated through one of two separate business entities: either Cheshire Medical Center or Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinics.

Whether compensated through Cheshire Medical Center or Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinics, we are all employees in the Dartmouth Health system and our patients are all Cheshire Medical Center patients. Although the majority of employee benefits are now harmonized, there are a few minor differences related to paid time off and professional development funding that are detailed in our benefits report.

The Children's Learning Center

Exceptional child care is conveniently available for benefits-eligible employees at The Children’s Learning Center at Cheshire Medical Center. Through our partnership with Bright Horizons, employees have exclusive access to the center— providing the best early education and care for your child, and productivity and peace of mind for you.

Center highlights:

• Full- and part-time schedules available year-round for infants through kindergarten prep
• Open Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
• Passionate, professional teachers who partner in your child’s development
• Discovery Driven Learning® to build a solid foundation for education and life skills

Employee Wellness Program
