Center and satellites
Currently, physicians, providers, and staff providing care and working in Keene, Walpole, and Winchester are hired and compensated through one of two separate business entities: either Cheshire Medical Center or Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinics.
Whether compensated through Cheshire Medical Center or Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinics, we are all employees in the Dartmouth Health system and our patients are all Cheshire Medical Center patients. Although the majority of employee benefits are now harmonized, there are a few minor differences related to paid time off and professional development funding that are detailed in our benefits report.

- Educational achievement awards
- In-house employee development programs
- On-site amenities including dining services, pharmacy, use of the rehabilitation gym workout center and walking trails
The Children's Learning Center
Our Employees qualify for child care at The Children's Learning Center on our main campus. Grandchildren of employees may also be eligible to attend, based on availability.
It is open Monday through Friday, year-round from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm, with the exception of the holidays recognized by Cheshire Medical Center, and provides care to children between ages 6 weeks and 14 years old.
Morning and afternoon snacks are provided for your child. Outdoor play is very important so if the weather is cooperating, the staff make every effort to get everyone in their care outside daily. The curriculum is based on The Early Learning Standards, Conscious Discipline, and The Pyramid Model.
The center is licensed by the State of New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services, with Licensed Plus Status, and has been owned, operated, and subsidized by Cheshire Medical Center since 1992.
