Collaboration between Cheshire Medical Center and our community helps keep exceptional healthcare close to home for all of us. Thanks to the generosity of community-minded donors, three new, state-of-the-art ultrasound units will soon be arriving at our Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging Department.
Ultrasound machines are some of the Medical Center’s most important diagnostic tools. Last year, more than 6,700 ultrasounds were performed here at Cheshire, helping to detect and diagnose a wide range of illnesses and conditions. These three new units will not only help the Medical Center keep pace with advancements in ultrasound technology, but also enable us to meet growing need for this type of patient testing.
