Matching gifts
Double the impact of your donation! If your company matches gifts to hospitals, simply fill out a matching gift form from your human resources office and send it with your gift. Subsidiaries of parent companies are usually eligible and retired employees may also qualify.
Gifts of stock or securities
Cheshire Health Foundation accepts gifts of most stocks and other securities. Gifts of appreciated stock are generally tax deductible with the capital gain also generally tax free. We recommend consulting with your tax advisor prior to making this type of gift. Estate gifts
Become a member of the Cheshire Health Foundation-Lichman Legacy Society for Planned Giving. If you are considering adding Cheshire Health Foundation to your estate plan, or even if you already have done so, please contact Sandie Phipps by email at sphipps@cheshire-med.com, Vice President, Philanthropy & Community Relations.
Memorials and tributes
Honor a friend, loved one, doctor or nurse by making a gift to an existing fund at Cheshire Health Foundation in their name to celebrate a milestone or an act of caring. Use the memorial/tribute area on the online giving form or simply send a note with your check indicating the tribute and their name such as: “Please accept this gift in honor of [insert name] for the excellent care I received during my stay” or “In honor of [insert names] 25th wedding anniversary.”
You may also consider memorializing a loved one in funeral announcements. Common language is often: “In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cheshire Health Foundation, 580 Court Street, Keene, NH 03431, to benefit the [insert CHF fund].” If you would like help with wording your memorial or choosing a fund, please contact Jim Boden by email at jboden@cheshire-med.com, Director of Annual Giving for details.
